FULLY FUNDED SOLAR PV AND BATTERY STORAGE
An opportunity for Cornwall Residential Landlord Association members
A new fully funded Solar PV and battery storage scheme is being developed for private landlords, potentially allowing renewable energy systems to be installed with no upfront landlord investment.
The project could help landlords prepare for and meet anticipated 2030 energy efficiency requirements, while improving property energy performance, reducing carbon emissions and helping tenants reduce their electricity costs.

The scheme is funded through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), with tenants remaining free to choose and change their electricity supplier.
The detailed landlord lease, tenant agreement, responsibilities, termination arrangements, maintenance provisions and precise financial arrangements are still being finalised and will be confirmed when available.
