HMO LICENSING
Cornwall Council are consulting on HMO Licensing fees and services. In their words, they want to:
- Understand how the proposed changes may affect different types of landlords.
- Identify any unintended or disproportionate effects.
- Consider whether any mitigation measures may be appropriate.
- Improve the way we communicate with landlords and administer the licensing process.
All landlords who are running an HMO, have in the past run and HMO or may in future run an HMO are urged to respond to this consultation individually and through sending their comments to the CRLA.
The ‘engagement’ will run for six weeks from Monday 8 June at noon until Friday 17 July at noon.
