LOANS TO HELP LANDLORDS IMPROVE THEIR PROPERTIES AND/OR EMPTY HOMES
Cornwall Council, in collaboration with Lendology CIC, is offering two loan schemes to support property owners (including landlords) in making homes safer, more energy efficient, and available for use.
Home Improvement Loan
Homeowners, private landlords, and park home residents can now apply for a Home Improvement Loan to fund home repairs and energy efficiency upgrades.
Loan amounts:
· Up to £25,000 for owner-occupiers and landlords
· Up to £10,000 for park home owners
Empty Home Loan
To help tackle Cornwall’s housing pressures, the Empty Home Loan supports owners of vacant properties in bringing them back into use. With around 3,200 empty homes in the county, this scheme offers a practical solution to unlock housing potential.
